Project Site: Waymart is the fourth wind farm project in Pennsylvania. This wind farm is a result of a four-year joint project by Orion Energy of Oakland, CA and National Wind Power of Great Britain. The project was sold to FPL who in turn, has contracted with Exelon Power Team and Community Energy o market the t e output of the wind farm. Turbines: Project consists of 43 GE 1.5 MWh turbines. Output: The Waymart Wind Farm generates enough energy to serve 20,000 homes.

These turbines at the Waymart Wind Energy Center are part of the largest wind power generation facility in Pennsylvania.
