Waymart will once again be hosting the Pride and Patriotism Day, June 12, 2010.
The day will kick off with the Waymart Lions
Club 5K Run/Walk at 9am.
Then at 2 pm Waymart will once again host the Pride and Patriotism Parade to help celebrate Flag Day.
Immediately following the parade there will be a Veteran's program in Wayside Park.
Then come have some food, drink and games at the BLOCK Party, starting
at 4pm.
How can you help?
- Organize your group to participate in the parade
- Food/game vendors needed
- Volunteer, as with any event help is always needed.
- Attend the day's events!

The Pride and Patriotism Committee will again be hosting the Pride and Patriotism
Parade in honor of Flag Day, June 12, 2010 at 2PM.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous donations over the past few
years. If you have not yet noticed, LOOK UP at the new banners that adorn our streets. These banners were paid for with both
YOUR contributions and a very generous donation from Nextera Energy.
I am once again asking for donations to pay for publicity, parade expenses AND the eventual purchase
of Christmas banners.
The Waymart Lions
Club will again be hosting their walk/run in the morning and the Waymart Fire Co is planning an event to follow the annual
Veterans program held in Wayside Park after the parade.To learn more about these events and to download applications, look
around our site.
Plan on coming to Waymart
for the entire day! This will be a combined effort to bring all who attend, a spectacular fun day in the Borough!!!!!
